The Beloved is our crimson batch of Amrita One navel oil, led by Manjistha. Rubia cordifolia is a dusty red root powder traditionally used in Ayurveda to support the blood, lymph, circulation and the clearing of stagnation. Like the plant itself, a fast spreading creeper, Manjistha is believed to encourage the free flow of prana through the body. Apply a few drops into the belly button when you hear the Beloveds call to move from remembrance into creation. Best used after a period of restoration and rest.
For a more restorative and regenerative oil, please see our The Remembering navel oil batch.
Navel oiling is a traditional Ayurvedic practice in which herbal oil is applied to the belly button and gently massaged around the abdomen to support the gut, skin, and nervous system through daily oil application and gentle abdominal massage.
Each batch is made using traditional practices such as bhasma and bhāvanā, where minerals are carefully refined and botanicals are slowly infused into oil. These methods allow the herbs, roots, resins, woods, and mineral elements to integrate deeply, creating a rich and highly absorbable blend for body, mind, and spirit.
Apply a few drops into the navel, or a full dropper if you feel called, and massage around the abdomen as a nightly ritual, or whenever the body is asking for fiery warmth, movement and renewed devotion.
Ingredient Highlights:
A botanical oil blend infused with Manjistha, saffron, frankincense, spikenard, brahmi, sandalwood, sacred fig bark, and other Ayurvedic plant medicines. Each ingredient is chosen for its place in Ayurveda and its spiritual and physical benefits.
