My name is Chandni, and simply put, I bottled this oil to sell because it works, and I was divinely guided to share it.
Amrita is a Sanskrit word meaning "immortal nectar of the gods," the divine essence said to have emerged from the cosmic churning of the ocean.
From this churning, multiple divine substances arose: the moon, the goddess Lakshmi, and Amrita, the nectar of immortality.
The devas drank it, not to live forever in a physical sense, but to gain higher states of consciousness and wisdom.
This story mirrors the human condition: through the friction and turmoil of life (the churning), something pure, eternal, and wise (Amrita) is drawn from the depths.
Our first offering is our navel oil, an offering born from the amrita of my family, myself, and our ancestors.
WHY AMRiTA ONE ?
One is about oneness, a reminder that we are all in this together.
"Amrita One" also kind of sounds like a spaceship to me: a vessel, a vehicle, a place that holds it all. Amrita One is a container for everything I create, more world-building than a brand. It's a living organism that shape-shifts and evolves with me, always softly opening and opening softly.
Amrita One actually began as a dream of creating a bed and breakfast and ranch where art, spiritual fitness, and nature collide. As I continue to build that vision, pieces of my inner world keep merging into my present earthly one, taking form as the creations and offerings I share here.
It's just me, my family, my ancestors, and the wisdom we've collected on our journey, alchemized into offerings for mind, body, and spirit.
Everything I create is, often unintentionally, an homage to my childhood, an attempt to recreate the magic of my formative years while rewriting the parts that were waiting to be healed and alchemized through my art and creations. My offerings are my way of grounding the transient energy I've grown used to, keeping me here, anchored in my body and on this earth.
